Fair questions

Why charge for the crew sheet?
It's the part that costs real money to run — live forecasts, check-in sync, always-on links — and it's the part that earns it: a 100-miler with a crew is a logistics operation, and one blown hand-off costs more than a Race Pass. A 3-hour solo race doesn't need any of it, so that stays free.
My crew sheet link already exists — does it break?
No. Every sheet created before pricing launched keeps working, updates included. We don't paywall promises retroactively.
Does my crew pay?
Never. Viewing a sheet, checking a runner through, adding notes — free for everyone with the link. Only the runner who creates the sheet pays.
What does a Race Pass cover exactly?
One race's live sheet: the link, unlimited plan updates to it, check-ins, re-forecasts, notes — through race day and after. Running another race later? That's a second pass, or Pro.
What about training plans?
In closed beta while we build watch-platform sync — we won't charge for them until they're worth it. Beta testers trade feedback for a comped Race Pass: the deal is here.
Refunds?
Race got cancelled, sheet never went live, something broke — email kris@trailgoat.run and we'll make it right. We'd rather lose $19 than an evangelist.
